(in development)

Years ago, somewhere in The Brume, a young Dragoon prodigy from a middle house of Ishgard decided he was fed up with the ascetic lifestyle of his city of birth. With the help of a shady stranger, he found passage safely across the chasm into Central Coerthas, until a trading caravan took him to the grand monetarist city of Ul'dah.

A kindly Lalafellin merchant found this destitute Elezen wandering the markets, avoiding local authorities with his prodigious leap. From then on, Jean was taken into Ul'dahn trading society, and allowed to travel with his adopted father and his many associates, traveling as far as Othard and the borders of Garlemald.

From sources Jean refuses to disclose, he learned the way of the samurai, becoming proficient enough that he entered the ranks of [redacted], where he [redacted].

But living in Ul'dahn society was not meant to be forever, particularly when a certain greedy Monetarist by the name of Teledji Adeledji aggressively sought to expand his trading empire, leaving much collateral damage in his wake -- including Jean's adopted father.

Left destitute in the streets of Ul'dah once again, and newly targeted by the brutal trade wars between the Monetarist class and their global partners, Jean sought revenge, not just against those in upper Ul'dahn society, but against the very system that enabled them to gather wealth.

(To be continued...)

Why does that Au Ra over there share your last name? That's my sister, Sherry. How I ended up in her family is a long story. If you find me going wild at a club, she's usually looking for me.

Your name sounds familiar... I'm sure it does, friend. Mayhap on another world beyond the Stardust, it signifies a beloved Crusader to whom I bear a faint resemblance. As it Stands, I'm just me.

Where is home for you? Since I left Ishgard, I've long accepted my itinerancy. Sometimes, it's in the skies with my trusty flying whale. Other times, I'm hanging out with the dwarves on the First I met during my adventures beyond. Usually, though, I'm sitting by the Limsa aetheryte, judging everyone around me.

Your outfit...! I may have run away from Ishgard, but an Elezen can't help but pamper and spoil himself sometimes, no matter how far he runs away. You, dear observer, reap the rewards with a chance at hanging out with potentially the most well-dressed individual at any given moment.

So what do you really do for a living? You don't want to know.

I think I saw you at the club... Say hi next time! I'll buy you a drink. Or maybe whisper sweet nothings.

Will you be my rave bae? Maybe, but you'll have to get on a waitlist.
